This bike tour is for independent travelers, individuals and small groups, this tour is not fixed for the certain dates and each traveler can choose arrival date during a season (from April 1st to November 1st). Dalmatian wine roads is our self guided bike tour where you can explore best parts of the Croatian coast riding your bike, day by day from place to place, our professional team on terrain will do all the transfers and all logistics that you have during a tour. This tour is mixture of the cycling, swimming, cultural sightseeing, wine and food tasting. Cycling route follows wine regions of Peljesac, Korcula and Konavle, following the wine roads you follow history and culture of the local people.


1st Day: Arrival day

meet at Dubrovnik airport, transfer along the coast to town Orebic (approx. 2 h drive from Dubrovik airport, eventually stop in town Ston for a short break. Arrival to hotel in Postup, vicinity Orebic town, rest of the day free, maybe some recreation bike ride around vineyards. Orebic is the biggest settlement on Peljesac peninsula. It offers the most of the shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and it's center of Peljesac peninsula and also the heart of 'Peljesac riviera' - area with several seaside villages which make the most popular destination in Dubrovnik county aside city of Dubrovnik. Orebic is ferry port for Korcula, Hvar and other islands in vicinity.

Accommodation: Hotel in Postup.

2nd Day: bike ride to Viganj and back, approx 30 km

biking along the coast in direction to town Orebic, by beach area of Kucište, turn in village Viganj and cycle along sandy beaches back to Orebic, through town back to Postup area where is the hotel.

Interesting places and sights:

Orebic: winery: Korta katarina, Maritime museum in Orebic, restaurant Mimbeli, ice cream bar; Crocantino in Orebic town. If you spend a day in Viganj you can enjoy in beach area and lots of beach bars, wind surfing or wind surfing schools are big thing here: (Water donkey), restaurant (konoba) Forte.

3rd Day: bike ride Postup Orebic – Korcula – Postup, cycling distance 50 km

Cycling to Orebic town where you catch the ferry to Korcula ferr port (Domince) approx. ferry runs almost every hour. From ferry port cycle in direction Korcula town, then along the coast to picturesque town Racisce (you pass by many hidden bays and beaches). For the return take the same road back to the ferry port then ride to hotel.

Korcula island, is not just famous by Marco Polo who was born in Korcula town in 15ct, it is famous by walled town of Korcula, narrow streets, Venetian architecture and Mediterranean life style. This green island with many hidden bays and beaches, old villages, clear blue sea is ideal place for cycling or spending a day in relax and peace.

4th Day: biking along Peljesac peninsula, town Potomje – Ston, distance 45 km

Check out from hotel, transfer with our driver (you, your bags and bikes) to town Potomje (to avoid narrow and steep part of the road in distance of 5 km). You start with your cycling in town Potomje, through tunnel that connects valley with terraces coast where are the famous vineyards of Peljesac. The road follows small coastal towns: Trstenik, Zuljana, Putnikovici, … to town Ston. This scenic road has many places where you can stop, enjoy in sightseeing, wine tasting, swimming or heaving the lunch in local konoba ( a restaurant where they serve local food). Upon arrival to Ston, check in your hotel and free time for sightseeing.

Ston was a major fort of the Dubrovnik Republic whose defensive walls were regarded as a notable feat of medieval architecture.The town's inner wall measures 890 metres in length, while the Great Wall outside the town has a circumference of 5 km. The walls extend to Mali Ston ("Little Ston"), a smaller town on the northern side of the Pelješac isthmus and the end of the Bay of Mali Ston, notable for its mariculture.

Things to do in Ston: city walls and sightseeing,

Restaurants: Bacus, Captain house.

Overnight Ston

5th Day: Ston – Dubrovnik, shuttle and sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik

After breakfast check out from hotel and shuttle to Dubrovnik (drive takes 45min to 1h). Upon arrival to Dubrovnik check in, then you meet your guide who will take you for a sightseeing tour in Dubrovnik historical center, after 2 hours of history tour you have time on your own to explore Dubrovnik little bit more.

Dubrovnik is a stunningly intact walled city on the Adriatic Sea coast of the extreme south of Croatia.. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, with lot of things to see and do.

The prosperity of the city of Dubrovnik was historically based on maritime trade. As the capital of the Republic of Ragusa,the city achieved a high level of development, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries. Dubrovnik became notable for its wealth and skilled diplomacy.

6th Day: Dubrovnik – Konavle countryside

Transfer during the morning to Konavle (drive takes 30-45 min), to town Gruda. Check in hotel. Cycling for a two days in Konavle discovers two areas of the countryside: northern villages: a loop of 35 km from Gruda along the valley to town Zvekovica (where is possible to take intersection to tow Cavtat (one way 3 km), and then continue following the road to villages Pridvorje and Ljuta.

On Ljuta river is restaurant Vinica Monkovic (great place for lunch or dinner).

Return from Ljuta to Gruda.

The fertile Konavosko polje or Konavle Fields region, surrounded by hills and mountains lies in the far southeast of Dubrovnik, Dalmatia and the Republic of Croatia. There are about thirty picturesque villages that exhibit authentic architecture, surrounded by exceptional vegetation growing on rocky red soil, including lavish groves of pine, cypress and the Mediterranean macchia.

Places to see:

Sokol kula(frontier post and stronghold of the Dubrovnik Republic), Old Franciscan monastery (15th century) in village Pridvorje, water mills on river Ljuta, ethnographic collections and wineries along the road.

Restaurants: Vinica Monkovic, Koraceva kuca

Overnight: Gruda

7th Day: Gruda – Cilipi – Radovcici – Poljica – Gruda, cycling distance 45 km

Today you can cycle the other, southern side of the valley. Along th way are wine cellars, or agroturismo places where you can stop and taste some local products. If you plan to have picnic lunch you can stop in small shops in Cilipi or buy something for the road in town Gruda. After Gruda first bigger place is Cilipi (few cafe bars, pizzeria, small market) but here you can also visit Ethno museum, St, Nicolas church... From Cilipi you continue following the main road to villages Radovcici and Popovici, behind this villages there are few beaches (Pendja, Pasjača), to reach beach you have to follow the many steps as the beaches are situated under the cliffs of Konavle.

Possible restaurants for the dinner: Vinica Monkovic, in town Gruda: Koraceva kuca, there are also few pizzerias in town.

Overnight: Gruda

8th Day: Departure

Breakfast in hotel, transfer to Dubrovnik airport according flight time.
